Pros: Nothing
Cons: I can't believe there are companies who put their creativity into something that causes problems and wastes time of good honest users. This company chose to lure you to their SPAM web site by giving away software (which is impossible to use for 99% of users), which is not really a packaged software but unprofessionally zipped bunch of files.

"Good basic product. Poor support. Don't go for the Professional edition."

Summary: Given that it is quite powerful and highly configurable (and Free) I am willing to forgive the complicated installation. ...thats also pretty typical for any enterprise level, web application running on SQL Server.
