Handy Backup Standard is a backup software certified with the Microsoft Works with Windows Vista logo. Performs automatic backup to DVD/CD, Blu-ray, HD DVD, FTP, USB, Flash, FireWire, LAN, and online. Supports ZIP64 compression, 128-bit encryption, has a flexible scheduler, can run as Windows service and notify via e-mail. Has presets to backup Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, ICQ, Email, Registry, My Documents, Favorites, and Desktop folders. In addition to the core functionality, Handy Backup Standard can be supplemented with paid plug-ins which include capability to perform drive image backup, MS Exchange Server backup, MSSQL backup, Lotus Notes backup, and ODBC-compatible database backup.

Version 6.1.0.1658 has enhanced user interface, support for Outlook 2007 and Windows Mail and an ability to import/export backup tasks and program settings.
