From Sicks: KLogicalDrives is a simple, light and free software to retrieve informations on logical drives and has also standard Windows options to manage them (rename, clean, search on, format). It displays, for each logical drive detected, the size (total capacity, used, free), the serial number, file system, max of file length supported, and if it's the system drive. KLogicalDrives is easy to use: simply select a drive. The software offers also possibilities to empty recycle bin, copy informations to clipboard, save informations in a text file and to take screen shots. Informations are refreshed each time you select a drive. They can be manually refreshed (Press F5). Transparent window is supported. Version 1.0.2 has able to empty recycle bin. Transparent window (not tested on Win 98). Copy informations to clipboard. Play a plop sound on start up on Win XP.

Managing your hard drive from one place--that's what this program is all about. KLogicalDrives' simple but informative interface displays information about your hard drive, including disk capacity, file system used, and used and free hard drive space. Right-clicking on the Transparent Window button launches a pop-up menu that lets you directly access disk-maintenance tools like defrag, disk clean up, and format. You can explore inside your drive's main directory and find files or programs with its fast searching tool. You may also generate a report using text files, transfer information to the Clipboard, or capture a screenshot of the program. Emptying the Recycle Bin is an unusual but nice addition to this application. Anyone who wants to maximize hard drive performance and have the vital information for disk diagnostics as well can benefit from this unpretentious application.
