From Phelios: For too long, genetically modified food and pollution from the ocean and environment created a harmful impact on the natural food chain of the planet Terria. The insects and ocean dwellers mutated in wildly unusual ways and became stronger and more intelligent. Some began to develop brain abnormalities, which resulted in an increased aptitude of 5,000 percent of their IQs. As their new intellect grew, so did their appetite for planetary domination. This basic arcade shooter game breaks no new ground but likely will please fans of the genre. As in games such as Space Invaders, your goal in KaiJin is to ward off the horde of ill-intentioned mutants. The graphics aren't top-notch but don't detract from the experience, and the theme music is well recorded. This game offers a decent feature set, including the ability to play in window mode, adjust the audio, and choose from one of three difficulty levels. It appears as if KaiJin actually contains three separate missions, but the demo will only let you access the first one. You've probably seen or played many similar games before, but if you like blasting things to bits, KaiJin makes a decent choice.
