Kitty Spangles Solitaire has a built-in help system to get you playing quickly. Choose from 21 of the best Solitaire games including Klondike, Freecell and Spider. All games are replayable and automatically saved for later, so you can play for as long as you like, whenever you like. The game window can be resized to fill your desktop or be shrunk down very small - so you can do other things at the same time. Also features a full scoring system. And, of course, Kitty plays purrr-fectly on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

Version 2.2.2 improves sound quality on Intel Macs and adds new themes.

This cute and simple cartoon-themed solitaire game offers challenging gameplay and fun graphics, but has a few flaws. The rounded and smooth graphics complement the Mac OS nicely, and you can choose from several animated backgrounds. We like this game for the graphics, and the auto-save-on-quit feature is an excellent addition. The game offers some sound effects as you move cards and redeal the deck, but no in-game music. We would have liked Kitty Spangles Solitaire to offer more games than Klondike. Also, the demo only lets you play for a limited amount of time before forcing you to quit. In other words, if you want to play more than a couple rounds, you'll need to relaunch the program. Overall, we think Kitty Spangles Solitaire offers plenty of style, but it would benefit from more game types and perhaps a cute soundtrack to accompany the slick graphics.
