From Kip Tracer: Lab DJ is a mixing program for your digital music. It can be used instead of turntables and a mixer at your next party, or instead of a bunch of DJ equipment at a wedding. It also makes a great practice tool for the wannabe DJ. It supports all file types, CDs, and has many sound altering features. With Lab DJ, you can play your music faster, slower, with effects, and backwards. You can use two sound cards as well as a wealth of visual aids from Lab DJ to make you a better DJ.

  Deck B Inoperable

  Pros: The software is very inexpensive compared to other DJ mixing programs.

  Cons: I have been trying out several DJ mixers of late, and have been rather surprised at the differences. Lab DJ would be a good program, I think, if it would allow the user to manually mix the music. That's what I want to do. However, Deck B does not operate and the program only automatically plays through Deck A. (???) I can click "Drop The Needle" on deck B, and the analyzer shows sound playing, but no sound comes from the deck. This leads me to believe that I might have a slider in the wrong place, but since there is no "Help" function, I couldn't find where my problem was. The user interface isn't very friendly.

  Cons: This tool is extremely uneasy to use. You keep searching for almost everything. It made me so angry that I deleted it right away. I've tried several other DJ Mixers, all of them were easy to use, and probably much better than this one. If you wanna feel angry, download it and try it for yourself. It's NO fun guaranteed !
