nelo (brazil)

nelo is project that started in 2001, as a side project for Marcelo Johann, brazilian musician, that used to work with some alternative and metal bands. In the years of 2001 and 2002, he released two albuns, called "nelogism" and "i like pickles". Always working alone, in a home studio (actually a home PC), he wrote other two albuns, called "the spaceboy's tale" and "camejo", but never finished'em. He is currently working in two new records, to be released this year, called "folk the children before they pop" and "all the world in love collapse", these in a folk, or anti-folk style.

"don't know, sometimes i think i'm paranoid, but i NEED to work alone. these are MY records. MY songs. only i can sing'em.."

Marcelo is an etnology student of the Federal University Of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in extreme south of Brazil. he's 22 years old.
