NaisQuest is a powerful search engine designed for Web sites and corporate networks. Provides full text and Meta data indexing of HTML, PDF, MS Office, OpenOffice, XML, TXT and archives. Text analysis with stemming (word variations) and stop words list is provided for 12 major languages and supports double-byte character sets. naisQuest supports Google-like query syntax and other advanced search options. Can highlight search terms and phrases in found HTML and text documents retaining document structure and formatting. It's simple to install and use.

Version 1.0.2 fixes major bug affecting application installation, adds support for results formatting using XSL transformation on server.

  NaisQuest Server

  Very nice and inexpensive search tool

  Pros: Pretty complete set of features for first release. I liked option to index shared folders on my company network in combination with publisher's fireQuest companion tool that allows you to open found document from its original location - really nice solution!

  Cons: Nothing special... For detailed program documentation I had to go to publishers web site. Some chapters I'd like to see are still missing but, on the other side, support team answered all my technical questions even before the purchase.
