Unlike programs that only tune elements of the Windows interface, this utility allows you to create and manage your own taskbars by combining any number of customizable bars and menus. With ObjectBar 1.6, you can make Windows 98 look and work like Windows XP, or even Mac or Linux. The interface lets even an inexperienced user easily switch between themes and add new ones from the Web. The handy theme editor displays taskbar elements on the right and their settings on the left. You can set look and behavior for any item. ObjectBar consumes less memory than the standard Explorer shell does. This reasonably priced tool will tickle those who find their Windows toolbar too inflexible or boring.
