Editor's review of PacElephant
Yet another contender in a horde of Pac-Man remakes, PacFish fails to innovate on the tried-and-true concept. Although they're funny and relaxing, the graphics and music are strictly run-of-the-mill. The gameplay is virtually the same as in the original, with one exception: you control an angelfish rather than the traditional character. We were glad we could start a new game from the level we reached during our previous session, but we were disappointed to learn you can't configure the controls (though you can choose to play with a joystick). And although it's nice you can pick from a few musical themes, none of them are particularly impressive.
The demo only can be run five times, yet that's enough to see that PacFish doesn't trump the competition. Still, undemanding users or small children might find something to like about this game.
