Publisher's description of Passgen
Passgen is a simple program to generate passwords, with the number of letters and numbers chose by the user, and random generated using PC clock. A very simple program, that can be useful to change your password from time to time, avoiding to be hacked.

It doesn't get any easier to generate random passwords than this simple freeware executable. Passgen is completely no-frills but gets the job done. Passgen doesn't install, but you will need to open its zipped folder and save the program where you can easily find it.
Execute the program file to display a compact, simple dual-field window. Operation is a mere mater of entering a number to set password length and pressing the Generate button. Passgen uses the system clock as the random number key. The password immediately displays as a mix of alpha and numeric characters. There are no options to block numbers or set all lower or uppercase letters. There's also no option to send the password to the clipboard, so you have to manually highlight and copy it.
If you just don't like to come up with your own passwords, Passgen is a no-cost, easy-to-use option that will do it for you.
