It's Main features Are: Excellent Playback Quality, Skin support , Equalizer, Playlist Editor, freedb support, Sonique vis plugins, Winamp DSP plugins, Various file TAGS, freeware license. It supports the following file formats: OGG/MP3/MP2/MP1/WMA/WAV/MO3/IT/XM/S3M/MTM/MOD/UMX/MID/MIDI/RMI/AIFF/AIF/AU/SND/AVI/MPG/MPEG/MOV/ASF/WMV. Version 2.5 has view the .txt file included in the .zip file.

  Passion Audio Player

  Excellent, Displays recording format

  Pros: This is the only freeware I could find that displays audio format, mono/stereo, bits/sec, and samples/second (clock rate). Excellent play-back quality. It turns out that my ears can't tell 112 kbps from 56 kbps (MP3), so I can double the capacity of my MP3 player.

  Cons: The file data font is a bit small, but readable. I couldn't find the full-scale frequency for the spectrum plot. Maybe Nyquist, or maybe 24 KHz?
