Pop stars have a way of inspiring near-religious devotion in their audience. This screensaver is aimed at the most fervent fans of Mariah Carey, displaying a series of photos of the singer, and playing her music. JPEG overcompression mars what might otherwise be good pictures, however. Amateurish onscreen logos and a turning cube with an advertisement for developer FantasyScreen did little to improve our overall impression. The software gives users no control over the speed or look of the photos, allowing only the capability to toggle sound and off. If you count yourself among Carey's biggest fans, this download might be for you, but we wouldn't recommend it otherwise.
