Tabmaster's Export to ASCII feature will save your work in a neat and organized text file, such as those widely available on the Internet. The demo version has a fully functional editing interface.

Create and edit riffs for string instruments and convert them to text with this limited-feature application, and expect to spend time with the help file to get started. Tabmaster s bland, simple interface shows the standard guitar string tuning and allows you to input finger placement on each string. Change the tuning and the number of strings if you re working with another string instrument. Enter as many chords as you d like, input artist and song title, select File and Save, and your music is saved in a text file. We would have liked to have accompanying audio to hear our new riffs. The demo is limited, with printing, importing, and use of the barre chord shortcut keys disabled. Beginning guitarists will find Tabmaster effective for creating music, but more advanced users will require a more feature-rich application.
