Vinilator is a free on-line translator and uses Babylon's translation system, which translates words from English to many others languages. Vinilator also translates phrases using the Google's translation system. All this works on-line. 27 options of translations File size. (200kb uncompressed) It's Light. (it works inside a floppy disk), it is not necessary to uninstall, just delete the file downloaded. Updates are automatic.When Babylon, Google or Vinilator have updates you get the new version automatically.You don't have disadvantages if you just want to translate words or phrases. But if we compare with the Babylon software, Vinilator doesn't have all the resources. Moreover, this system needs Internet connection to be used. You can access Vinilator using a Firefox extension.

Version: Vinilator 1

"Good, strong program"

Pros: This product is definitely as it is advertised: Free, light, and it translates. The Babylon translator is extremely effective, and if it gets up and running again, this program is definitely worth the couple of kb the download takes.

While this program lacks a help file, it does have an almost comprehensive help page on its website. In order to view the page in English, you must click the UK flag in the upper-right-hand corner of the page.

Cons: The program originally appears in Portugese, and there is no obvious instruction explaining how to change the language setting. (In order to change the language setting to English, click the little british flag in the center of the translation window.)

Also, the translation utilizing the Babylon engine appears to be indefinitely unavailable, and as of now, only the Google translation engine can be used. The Google translation engine is definitely not as good.

Finally, the program does not have an instruction guide. In order to use the program, you must save the .exe file to a directory you use often, else you will lose the program and will be unable to find it again; the program is opened directly from the .exe file.

"not even english!!!"

Cons: I couldnt read what it said because its nt english. If posable, can we get an english version please???
