- "Explore with XYplorer"
XYplorer is a shareware alternative to Windows Explorer that offers more tools and file information than the native file manager. You can have XYplorer automatically show thumbs in the document list, or you can use the info panel to get a full-size preview. The info panel offers a wealth of information about files with a powerful search tool that supports Boolean logic, regular expressions, whole word matching, fuzzy terms, and more to find any file quickly.
Although the search feature is arguably the best thing about XYplorer, there are other great features included. The program offers a traditional layout for users who want to keep a Windows Explorer feel, and a tabbed layout for those ready to move on. Users can also run XYplorer in conjunction with scripts and create shortcuts to other apps. At just a shade over 1MB, it's tiny, and since it doesn't edit your computer's Registry, XYplorer is completely portable and utterly worth trying.

Version: XYplorer 6.10
"It's THE Best Windows Explorer Replacement"
Pros: Have been comparing XYplorer with other Windows Explorer replacements for a couple of years now. XYplorer is a top choice for many users, especially power users. freeCommander is still worth trying, especially since it is just that - free. However, the options and features of XYplorer will probably still win out for most of those who need them. The fact that XYplorer keeps all settings in an INI file, therefore making it completely portable, is be a HUGE plus for many users. Keep up the great work, Don!

Version: XYplorer 6.10
Pros: After searching through the web for several days and testing several file managers, I found this gem. My first critirea was small memory and small size of the program which XYplorer (formerly TrackerV3) met quite nicely. In this little program I found plethora of possibilties to manage my chaotic files, very user friendly and some of its features are extremely fun to work with. I found this tool highly addictive and this made me buy it finally. But ofcourse you can test ride it for 30 days until you can buy. The forums are extremely friendly and the admin himself attends to all of the wishes and makes sure XY meets your requirements. I highly recommend it to those who like both power and fun in one software.
