A pupil of the legendary teacher Nadia Boulanger, A.A.Owen has been at the cutting edge of contemporary music for 30 years. In 2002 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (London) for achieving distinction in the music profession. His music and many recordings have been performed throughout the world.
Nadia Boulanger descrobed him as "a real musician, gifted nd inspired".
Amongst his many successes was an invitation to arrange the Grand Finale for the Halley's Comet Royal Gala Concert, that took place in the Wembley Conference Centre in 1985. His CD - Voyager - being released at MIDEM 98 and performances on London's South Bank.
