Biography
With comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, or a young Leonard Cohen, Aaron Wilson searches for emotion in a modern world which seems to be lacking any sentiment. Such feelings can be found in the spooky yet sincere guitar FX ballad Apathy Me, or the down-to-earth love song appropriately titled Simple Song.
Imagine a solo effort from one of the boys from Radiohead, Blur, or Travis and you're on the right path to understanding the melancholy singer/songwriter from upstate New York.
Wilson attended music school but found it stifling, however his moving piano and guitar songs are widely accepted in the cafe scene. Today Wilson works in theatre while performing original music and recording his first full length CD.
