Editor's review

This Minneapolis artist wants you to know that he is not, repeat, not "the same Adam Schmitt who made power-pop records in the late '80s and early '90s." Got it. This Adam probably has him beat anyway, with whispery acoustic-pop tunes that pair John Mayer-like affability with whimsical blues licks.

Biography

Adam Schmitt is a 23-year old singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, MN. He started playing guitar at the age of six. He wanted to major in Rock Star when he got to college, but for some reason they didn't offer that, so he decided to go about it on his own by writing and recording his music and playing at various venues around the Twin Cities area. Now that he's graduated, he sits in a bit in a few other bands and plans to actually start playing shows of his own music again.
