Editor's review

Unlike many of their math-rock brethren, these San Francisco musicians utilized both the emotional and logical sides of their brains, keeping integrity in their recordings until they split up in 1998. Edgy and visceral, the members of A Minor Forest moved on to Threnody Ensemble, P.E.E., and Ticwar.

Biography

A Minor Forest were rather fetching. From beyond the grave they released a double CD of rare and out of print material on My Pal God. ...So Were They in Some Sort of Fight? was released on October 4th, 1999. Dude, they were pretty freakin' hot. "Look at That" courtesy of Thrill Jockey. "Armigh is a Hovercraft" courtesy of My Pal God
