Editor's review

Even knowing that piano stars often present young, prepare to be taken aback at this 11-year-old's renditions of Lizst, Mendelssohn and others. Koay's technique, excellent as it is, shocks less than the maturity of his style; the youth seems to pour 80 years of wisdom and pain into every phrase.
