I am a former student of Rick Robertson's so I feel obligated to share how talented he is. Rick is the most dedicated instructor I know. He realates to his students so well that if the student gets lucky, he will dedicate a piece to him. I was fortunate enough to be that student for the Nocturne. It is a beautifully written piece and I enjoy playing it still (after learning it 7 years ago). I am so proud of Rick for his accomplishments! My best wishes to him for future success.

Glad to 'meet' the dedicatee of the Nocturne, which is sort of hypnotically beautiful to me. There is a deceptive simplicity and a strong wistful quality to it. However, when I tried it, I just did not do well by that piece though I have the "beta" version at Ampcast and I hope to do it more justice on the next try. Thank you for writing.
