Biography

ANGEL All songs on this site are written and recorded from scratch by Angel Immanuel. The drums bass and keyboards are composed and then programmed into a sequencer, and are then saved on to a digital recorder. All guitars and vocals are performed live by Angel and are then also stored in the digital recorder, where the whole thing is mixed and later stored to mp3 format. So currently, Angel is what some would call, a one man band. Angel started his actual musical career at the age of 13 by joining a band in Mexico, that was heavily influenced by bands like U2 and The Cure, yet they still decided to perform all original songs rather than falling into the norm of playing covers in order to make money. After a couple of name changes and transformations, the band started touring from bar to bar all around Mexico. In 1996, Angel moved to Oklahoma city, USA, where he met one the most influential people to ever cross his path; co-songwriter and friend, Rick Duvall. Rick Duvall is currently the creative mind behind the band Ballista (www.ballistamusic.com). Together they co-wrote a number of songs in a band called "The Make", ranging from mellow grooves to royal hard funk. After releasing a full length album with The Make, the band eventually faded, and Angel decided to go in his own direction. Rick and Angel still share ideas on new songs. In 1999 Angel joined the army in Denmark, where he, believe it or not, set up his own home recording studio in the recreation room at the barracks, folding and packing it away for inspection every morning. During the first twelve months of service, Angel wrote and recorded 32 songs, sending them out to numerous record companies in Denmark. Angel is now living in the UK and plans to expand his music by forming a band in Bristol. All performances will be posted on this site. So with fingers crossed for a record deal, he continues promoting his music and writing new songs.
