Lady BumpNGrind and Prince Piscal Pete (P3) met one fateful night at a deserted waffle house in Berlin. As they conversed over their mutual love of obscure burmese films and non-vegan diets, a meaningful connection was made.
After a few too many french pancakes they decided to get married, though when they returned to the states, their adopted parents informed them that they were actually related; brother and sister seperated as infants. Consequently, their marriage was annuled after only 12 hours, but their partnership stayed in tact- only instead of making babies, they decided to make music- and thank God for that!!!
This duo is as musically diverse as their backgrounds. P3 draws his musical sensibility from his childhood in Kyrgyzstan where he mastered the art of tcrakqi, a native nasal- singing which rejects conventional melody and pitch. LadyBumpNGrind brings street smarts to the mix, and adds the urban cool and sass she picked up while performing as an underaged go-go dancer and jazz singer in Detroit. Together, they've combined their talents to create the eccentric Anorexic Kiki.
