'Bachata' refers to a Dominican pop subgenre that emerged in the 1960s, one that's generally guitar-based, romantic, and slower than the country's more dance-oriented styles. All of those features are on impressive display in the music of this Dominican/New York group.
Bachata Con Sentido is a new bachata group from the Dominican Republic which comes with the idea of putting together beautiful lyrics and great sound. The starting point for the creation of this group began in a pleasure trip to Atlantic City, in which Anthony Diaz--the producer--was presented with a new song by his good friend Henry Gonzalez ?composer?. The song is call 'si la ven' which translate to English 'If you see her', this song ended up to be as the first song recorded by the group and the inspiration for this music project. Right now the producer lives in New York City and the group members are in the Dominican Republic.
