Biography

Bambix is a dutch three-piece punkrock band that has been around some 13 years ago. Bambix plays fresh and vital punkrock with female voices. Bambix means pressing the repeat button and keep listening to their stuff for hours, days and weeks. Bambix is all about catchy, varying yet grounded songs without lacking ambition.

Bambix established a name worldwide having excessively toured Germany , Belgium, Holland, France, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland. They are constantly on the road performing up to 160 gigs per year. After a couple of highly successful tours in Brazil, Bambix was also featured on MTV and a couple of other TV-shows worldwide. Needless to say that Bambix shared stages with bands such as Bad Religion, Snuff, Wizo, Snapcase, Shelter, Satanic Surfers, Jawbreaker, Good Riddance, Tilt, Queers, Ataris, Fugazi, GBH, Boysetsfire, Pennywise, Guttermouth and Fabulous Disaster.

With “Club Matuchek”, the bands’ fifth full length, Bambix follows their long-lasting tradition of quality releases. Those 13 songs on their new album are by far their best effort to date. So open another can of beer and prepare for another new masterpiece, this time on Go-Kart Records Europe.
