Like every other Breakbeat Kaos release, it is a track that has witnessed massive radio support, gaining constant airplay by a variety of Radio 1 and 1Xtra hosts.

DJs supporting the track are: Andy C, Shimon, Hype, Swift, Friction, Pendulum and Nicky Blackmarket and of course label's own Adam F & Fresh but to name a few.

This single is coming out as a one sided very limited picture disc and once again, is setting the standard for the forthcoming 'Junglesound II' – The Bassline strikes back’ album which is set for release early November 2005.

Simon 'Bassline' Smith Biography

2004 was a massive year for Simon Bassline Smith. Alongside Drumsound he produced the biggest track of the year for Grooverider's Prototype imprint. The mighty 'Odyssey' went on to hit the number one spot in the UK dance chart. Last year also saw a debut artist album from the Drumsound & Bassline Smith collaboration, and a string of releases on Renegade Hardware, Creative Source, Timeless, V recordings, Formation, CIA and of course their own Technique Recordings and Worldwide Audio Recordings.

The momentum shows no sign of halting in 2005. With remix projects already delivered for Ganja and their debut release for Breakbeat Kaos forthcoming, their attention has turned to a series of EP's entitled 'The Valley of The Kings' set to drop on Technique across the spring and summer months.

Alongside a pioneering production career which spans across the last decade, Simon has been representing his sound around the globe since the inception of hardcore and Drum & Bass. As a DJ, it all started in the early 1990's playing for legendary dance organizations such as: - Perception, Methology, Rain Dance, Dance '91 and World Dance. It was around this time that Simon started one of the first D&B labels Absolute2. He introduced and established producers such as Doc Scott and Nookie before concentrating on his own productions. 'Palomino' 'Jungle' 'Music' and 'Life' were all seminal tracks in what was just becoming D&B. Over the past few years Bassline Smith has secured his place in the D&B premiership. His Technique imprint goes from strength to strength and his heavyweight DJ sets have spread the Technique sound over every continent. In recent months his appearances have spanned America, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Iceland, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Ireland, Czech Republic, Brazil, Poland, Switzerland, Uruguay, Norway, Italy as well representing for some of the biggest UK organisations such as Slammin Vinyl, Accelerated Culture, One Nation, Detonate, Movement the list goes on.

Drumsound Biography

Drumsound consists of 2 members, Andy and Ben. Each member brings their own individualistic talent to this tight group now tipped to be one of the hottest DJ / producer collective in the 21st century.

Andy is the main producer /engineer and has been making drum and bass and building his studio since 1995 after attending a studio skills course at square centre studios in Nottingham. He specialises in blending heavy distorted sub bass with noises ranging from spacey to almost funky. Ben comes from a completely different background. He has been Djing for the best part of a decade now, playing everything from hip-hop, early hardcore & jungle techno, and finally drum and bass. Over the last 6 years he has played all around the world alongside the rest of the Technique Recordings crew.

At the end of 1998 Drumsound linked with Simon 'Bassline' Smith of absolute and absolute 2 fame.The two parties quickly became regular sparring partners and soon were making tunes on a daily basis. Their mutual understanding and musical tastes were completely identical and it was soon decided to form a combined imprint in order to showcase their individual and joint projects. 'Technique Recordings' was born……

Since then the two parties have gone from strength to strength by combining Simons old skool background with Drumsound’s new skool ideas to form an explosive partnership.
Drumsound & Simon Bassline smith are now causing a storm across the globe with their sound. with releases such as "Nature of the beast" LP, "Tinman", "Get Through", "Junglist", "Stigmata" and "The Planets" all on Technique Recordings alone, as well as succesfull releases on Prototype, V R ecordings, Good Looking, Renegade Hardware, Formation Records, CIA, TOV, Flex, Reformed and Grid Recordings.
