Gush all you want about Dan Deacon, Ponytail, or Bmore ex-pats Yeasayer. Hell we love em too. But if there's one Charm City band the MuseBox is putting its money on, it's Baltimore's Beach House. On the duo's forthcoming sophomore release, Devotion, Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand play the sort of lustrous dream pop that eases pain, cures disease and, silences crying babies. You get the picture. It's real restorative, transformative stuff. All thanks to a handful of delicate melodies, tasteful instrumentation, and some incredibly potent songs.
