Ben Bylsma

Ben has been creating music since he was fourteen years old. At the age of sixteen he bought his first guitar with one weeks paycheck and taught himself how to play. driven by the motivation to create he began writing and since has created several independently released CDs . At twenty-three God is still using Him and in the direction of worship music for churches. "It seems like when anything becomes popular i.e. 'worship music', there becomes a loss of quality in it. I know from experience that it's easy to simplify the words and in like manor loose the effectiveness that truth has. It discouraged me and then I realized that I could ignore it or do something about it." His desire was to write with a heavy influence in scripture. "more then just themes from scripture but to use the phrases that held incredable truths. I thought if these words had power then in order for my music to have the effectual power that I was seeking to have through it I would need to use these words, these phrases these truths in my music."
