Smooth jazz tends to walk a fine line between supermarket-ready schlock and gorgeously silky tones. Orlando pianist LeFaive is on the right side of that divide, with surprisingly ambitious phrasing and a keen sense of dynamics more than forgiving occasion

Biography

Words like ?memorable? and ?incredibly catchy? have been used to describe Bill LeFaive's compositions. His keyboard playing is simply sweet and melodic and is world class.? Bill?s music takes elements of jazz and pop to create a smooth jazz sound that is
appealing to a wide range of listeners.

Bill LeFaive began playing piano at the age of five. He later studied at the Hartford Conservatory of Music and began performing professionally by the age of thirteen.? Only recently has Bill started to compose and record music.? ?I find that I?m most creative when I tap into the human consciousness that surrounds us and allow the spiritual and emotional experience to
drive the process.? The most satisfying thing for me is when a listener perceives this.?
