While attending college in Arizona, I gave my life to Jesus though Campus Crusade for Christ. It was 1977 and as a result of my new birth, I became inspired to write new songs with a real purpose ?sharing the good news? that God is willing that none should perish, that every one should come to know eternal life through Him. I met other born again musicians and formed a group called ?True Witness?. Our fellowship together and the music we produced as a band during that time shaped my songwriting of today. It was a real growth period and we eventually decided to move in separate directions.
I went into a solo music ministry and recorded my first album ?Then I found Jesus?. This album expressed my born again experience and commitment to the gospel. A few years later, ?On the Road to the Kingdom? was produced. These songs were about the growing pains that we often encounter as we allow the Holy Spirit to change who we are into who God meant us to be. My latest project ?Unto the Lamb? was released in August 2003. This CD has seasoned, heart felt lyrics, acoustic based rhythms and a music theme that changes with each message. These songs reveal my walk with the lord as I draw closer to him. They have been very well received by many types of listeners. I am currently working on a new project titled ?Deeper". The Lord is calling us into a deeper relationship with Him. Song titles are Find Your Way, Because You First Loved Me, Deeper, Rescue Me, The Way, Heart Song, His Love, Won?t Let Me Go, The Lord Is Good, Sign, Perfect Love, Someday. These songs are an expression of my desire to choose the Lord over the things of this world. It is good to remember that we will be spending eternity with the Lord.
This ministry of song reflects a gratitude for what God has done for me. With a compelling desire to acknowledge his presence, and share with others, the possibility that anyone who desires forgiveness and salvation can have it through Jesus (The Christ). I trust that these songs will bring faith, hope, encouragement and enjoyment as they did when I wrote them and now as I perform them.
