So What About This Blair Lott guy? Lott is a seasoned veteran of southeastern stages. Once you've heard his raspy baritone belt out original tales of brooding adventure, romance gone sour or insightful character studies ; you won't forget this familiar southern sensation and former lead singer of the Georgia based band “Ruben Kincaid”. In addition to numerous cassette EPs and a CD, 'Isn't it Wonderful...', Lott's songs have been recorded by other bands, and were recently featured on an episode of USA Network's, The Big Easy. Although he calls Atlanta, Georgia home; Blair spent the last couple of years in Melbourne, Australia polishing up all-new material with producer Michael Spiby for a disc to be released soon. Blair has toured extensively with his band, Ruben Kincaid (www.rubenkincaid.com), dubbed one of America's 'best unsigned bands' by SPIN Magazine and Atlanta's 'Thinking man's pop band' by Creative Loafing. Performance highlights include such memorable joints as the 40-Watt in Athens, Maxwell's in Hoboken, CBGB's and the China Club in Manhattan, The Rathsceller in Boston, Metropolis/Milk Bar in Jacksonville, The Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, and Tipatina's in New Orleans.
