The Boiling Bayou Cajun Band is a cultural experiment gone right. The members play traditional Cajun music with passion and precision, though they're not from Louisiana. These Creole cowboys are actually from Stockholm, Sweden, and they're not afraid to try the surstromming gumbo.
Biography
Boiling Bayou plays traditional Cajun Music with the classic lineup of cajun accordion, fiddle, guitar, and triangle.
Boiling Bayou has been part of the swedish folk scene for the last few years and has made appreciated appearances at various festivals in a country where cajun music is rarely heard.
The songs is part of a demo CD, recorded at www.demostudio.se november 2004.
