BONNY FERRER

Bio in english and german Everything started in Africa, where I was born. At the age of 3 years I already knew that I wanted to spend my life singing. Actually my father had something else in mind for me, but that's how life goes! Thank God I found the necessary support at my Grandma's place in Spain, where I live before I came over to Germany at the age of 9. My kismet is singing and so I went singing throughout every step of my life; in the sandbox, at school, where I actually had to sing on our way back from our school trips. I had no chance, so I grabbed the micro of the bus driver and sang until we arrived home. Of course I won't deny that I had my fun with it!! I had my first Band �Rhythm Import� at the age of 17. My first gig was accompanied with terrible stage fright. Till that day I only had experiences singing in front of at most 30 people and in the television tower where we had our gig where more than 1000 people!!! Now I'm used to it, but sometimes still have some stage fright, but that's really kicking! During my musical identification process I made a lot of experiences with bands like Sonic Tonic, Monkey Business, Inusas Groove Factory etc. But after a while I knew that that wasn't enough for me. I wanted my own project and so I formed my own band in 2000 � Bonny Ferrer & the Latin Souls�. I called the best musicians I played with during my career and they where immediately all for it. During that time I also did background vocals for artist like, Princessa, Kim & Oceana, Young Deenay, James Last etc. I also had performances on TV like on Top of the Pops, Viva Interaktiv, Popkomm, MTV etc. But throughout that time I always kept my own aim in sight and also made different experiences with producers from Studio 33, Candy Station, Trixx, Peer Music, Oja Music etc. Through a fortune coincidence I met the guys from VinylRepublic who also make recordings for Philie Mc and remixes for Eminem. We worked together for over 1 year and put all our creative urges together and did some beautiful recordings. Further songs I recorded with Nenad Lautarevic. Not only that he is an outmost good keyboard player, apart from that he is an exceptionally gifted accordion player. And as you can hear, some nice results came out. Mit 3 Jahren wusste ich schon, das ich S�ngerin werden wollte. Mein Vater wollte zwar etwas anderes f�r mich, aber that?s how life goes! Gott sei Dank fand ich bei meiner Oma in Spanien, bei der ich zwischenzeitlich gelebt habe, bevor ich mit 9 Jahren nach Deutschland kam,die Best�tigung, die ich f�r meinen Traum brauchte. Ich ging also singend durchs Leben. Sei es im Sandkasten, oder in der Grundschule, wo ich bei jeder Klassenfahrt zum Busfahrer nach vorne gebeten wurde und so lange f�r meine Klassenkameraden und Lehrer singen musste, bis wir wieder zu Hause waren. Das hat mir nat�rlich richtig Spass gemacht hat!! Meine erste Band "Rhythm Import" hatte ich dann mit 17. Mein erster Auftritt mit der Band war nat�rlich von schrecklichem Lampenfieber begleitet. Immerhin waren auf meinem ersten Auftritt im Fernsehturm in Hamburg mehr als 1000 Leute vor Ort!! Bis Dato hatte ich ja h�chstens vor 30 Personen gesungen. Heute ist das kein Problem mehr vor �ber tausenden von Menschen zu singen. Meine musikalische Selbstfindung habe ich mit verschiedenen Bands durchgemacht. Sonic Tonic, Monkey Business, Inusas Groove Factory etc. Nach einiger Zeit war mir klar, das mir das nicht genug war. Ich wollte mein eigenes Projekt und gr�ndete im Jahr 2000 meine Band "Bonny Ferrer & the Latin Souls". Ich rief einfach die besten Musiker an mit denen ich in der Vergangenheit gespielt hatte und konnte sie kurzerhand f�r mein Projekt begeistern. W�hrend dieser ganzen Zeit habe ich auch an anderen Projekten als Backgrounds�ngerin mitgewirkt, u.a. f�r Princessa, Kim & Oceana, Young Deenay und Senait. Im Fernsehen war ich zu sehen auf Auftritten bei Top of the Pops, Viva Interaktiv, Popkomm, MTV etc. Jedoch habe ich nie mein eigenes Projekt aus den Augen verloren und sammelte in den Jahren einige Erfahrungen mit Produzenten in verschieden Studios wie, (Studio 33, Candy Station, Trixx, Peer Music, Oja Music etc.), bis mich ein gl�cklicher Zufall auf der EMI Weihnachtsfeier 2001 mit den Jungs von Vinylrepublic die u.a. Phillie Mc produziert und Remixe f�r Eminem gemacht haben, zusammengebracht hat. �ber ein Jahr haben wir unsere Ideen, Kreativit�t und meine Stimme duchs Mikrophon und Mischpult gejagt und meinen Style herausgearbeitet. Weitere Songs habe ich mit einem begnadeten Musiker namens Nenad Lautarevic kreiert. Nicht nur dass er genial Keyboard spielt, nein, er spielt auch noch genialer Akkordeon!!! Und wie man sieht, sind bei der Zusammenarbeit einige h�rbare Leckerbissen entstanden. Das Ergebnis l�sst sich gut h�ren. Mal sehn was ihr meint! :-)
