Biography

Downloadable experimentations in dance music, most tracks written, recorded and produced in less than one day's time. Sometimes minimalist, sometimes brackish, always melodic. Beginning as a jazz / avant garde guitarist in Texas, Boom turned to New Mexico and electronic music in the early 90's with seminal industrialpop act Society Burning. Signing with Reconstriction/Cargo records mid decade fueled the fire, spawning club hits with the tracks 'Awaken', 'Immobilize Me' and the free for all stomp of 'Tactiq' Into the 2000's, Boom has worked with numerous artists in the less than industrial arena. Enamored with the 'old is new again' philosohpy, Boom's music has facets of techno, nu-beat, house, gabber, and the ever underlying hint of edge from the SoBu days, while still retaining the ability to hook with a memorable riff. Since the advent of downloadable audio (don't ask him, he's quite adamant that he helped in pioneering this), Boom's been actively utilizing the Internet as a method to display his experimentations in electronic audio.
