Biography

Budda Chi, born and bred in Birmingham started out as a Garage MC 12 years ago playing in Clubs abroad from Majorca to as far as Cyprus.  Growing up in Handsworth, Birmingham, having material to write about came easy, as life was the opposite. Fellow school friend and artist Blaq-I (who had recently accompanied Busta Rhymes on tour) had already started in the music game and gave him a few pointers. It wasn't long before he linked up with Urban Monk, a well established producer, who hooked him up with the right sound's. As the new Midlands based up and coming UK Hip-Hop/Rap artist Budda "Xin" Chi has also performed in Spain, Austria Italy and Sicily. But here in the UK, has played 3 times with DJ Shogun. They raising over 10,000 at Birmingham's "Dance away da Disaster" gig in aid of the Tsunami Victims which was held at St George's School, Edgbaston. He then went on raising awareness by playing bi-monthly in Barcelona, Malaga and Prague towards the end of 2005. Now having his dream split into two avenue's by joining Monflor - mainstream Sicilian Rock Band-spending time oncompleting HIS Album and da "family business".?Keep ur ears to the Ground for "Enter da Budda"
