Except for Philippe Sangara's vintage electric guitars, it's a totally acoustic band. High energy onstage, an unique, primitive, tribal sound, based in the tradition of country blues, but "post modern" too.Bulldog Gravy has been recognized as one of the leading figures of "new blues" in France, and is in all the major festivals. It is actually selected as one of the 10 best self produced CD's in blues for 2004 by the International Blues Challenge of the Blues Foundation in Memphis.
