The mega metal riff--that juiced demon that sees the guitar as more sledgehammer than instrument--may be one of the few truly incorruptible beasts of rock. Certainly, there's no hiding among "hybrids" in this London group's mad metal--just volume knobs turned into art objects.
Biography
Burn Before You began with two old friends Steve Lopez (Guitar) and Colin Chambers (Bass) jamming and deciding to put a band together. In response to an advertisment, Daniel Allan joined on guitar, bringing Adam Brown along on vocals. After a couple of tried and tested drummers, Ray Hearne joined permanently on drums. After many good gigs and a 'Demo of the Month' Metal Hammer review in 2006, things look good in 2007 for Burn Before You. We're currently recording an EP due for release very soon.
