Editor's review

These two have sure listened to a lot of Ol' Dirty Bastard. Leaving one unsure of what to prefer--a strung-out felon whose musical genius may well have petered out a good decade ago, or some energetic mimics who are as streetwise as they are explicably forthright.

Biography

Infinit Evol and B Will are fighters for truth in hip-hop. Infinit Evol comes from the true-school while B Will brings the new school of real music while dismissing formatted "cookie cutter" rap music. As a group, the two seek to enlighten fans of hip-hop from past generations and newer generations through their creativity. Their music sets out to display realism in lyrics and complexity in sound.

Infinit Evol has lived from orphanage to group home to penitentiary. Infinit grew up in the Bronx, New York where he began emceeing at an early age. During his younger years Infinit listened to artist such as the Ultramagnetic Emcee?s, Gangstarr, Sun of Bizarre, Rakim, Kool G Rap, and KRS-One. "I come from the true school of hip hop, when kats was really living the way they spoke on tracks, not acting on some fake popularity bullsh**." As Infinit became older he moved further away from hip hop while moving further into the street life, and eventually ended up in an Ohio penitentiary. During the years that he spent in prison, he began mastering different aspects of his rap skill mostly through freestyle. Shortly after his release, Infinit hooked up with B Will. Infinit now downplays his street background because he has done it all and has paid the costs. "I?m trying to do the right thing now, hip hop has always been there for me, no matter where I have been. Prison ain?t no where for me to be, this music B Will and myself are making is going to keep me on the right path."

B Will was raised in Columbus, Ohio. As a youth he switched between public schools and private schools which shaped his outlook on life in various ways. B Will lived with his mother and she played an assortment of music ranging from The Nutcracker to Tina Marie. B Will would also be found in the studio often because of his fathers musical endeavors as a record producer. B Will began getting into Hip hop during high school. B Will?s influences include Ibom, Laura Nyro, Curtis Mayfield, Pete Rock, RZA, and DJ Premier but he also gives credit to all the music that he hears. He feels that everything he hears contributes to his music. ?My music isn?t only inspired by many of hip hop?s famed producers, but it is also inspired by my struggles and by the struggles that I see many people go through. Everything that I have experienced and everything that I have heard, from my mothers old records to my fathers formatted production techniques has contributed to my music.?

B Will now analyzes music and understands the importance of communication through music and through lyrics. ?If a producer or lyricist are not educating the masses in some way, through their music than what is the point. Music is supposed to be heart felt and honest, that?s what my whole crew stands for in this hip hop world.?

B Wills music began getting better as years past. His beats are best described as having rhythmic but complex drums with melodic and soothing basslines. When he met Infinit Evol, B Will knew that he wasn't the averagfe MC. Something abouthis aura and presence on the microphone felt different. B Will was hesitant about giving his tracks up until Infinit recorded the track ?We Wont Be Here? which seemed to touch B Will in a way that the other tracks he had recorded didn?t. ?I really felt Infinit on that track, it was your standerd track with Chorus effects on the hook and mass addlibs, it was just Infinit letting heads know about the hood, and life and death period.?

It was history from then on. Their masterpiece debut "The Professor and the Mutant" really captures the essence of the title. B Will's genius production and Infinit's honest lyrics, that display a tortured soul scarred by society's rejection, blend together in perfect harmony in a musical landscape filled with raw emotion and energy.
