I like this cat, and man can he play his harp. You can hear all kinds of influences from Butterfield to Little Walter,stewed up in a great big pot of blues stew. Thats not all brother, underneath all that soulful wailing is the southern JJ Cale, with his whispered soulful outlook on love and life,is a fine songwriter bustin to catch the 5.15 train to take you to places that only exist in his mind, but you know where they are because we have all been there, be sure to catch the train.
