Biography

Chris was born and raised in Douglasville, GA where he currently lives. He has been a musician since 1987, when at the age of 7 he bought his first guitar.

For the past 20 years, Chris has been a very avid songwriter. He has both written songs he himself has released and other musicians have released. While he loves to play, record, and perform it is his songwriting that pleases him the most, and seems to be his best talent.

In 1998 Chris opened up a recording studio at his house where he has recorded 4 independent albums since then. Other musicians who have recorded there include but are not limited to Daystar, Screaming Madison, Sect, Atonement, and End of Days. Not all bands have released their material.

In January of 1999 Chris joined a group of musicians that consisted of Jamie Warner, Kelley Warner, and Brandon Johnson. The day after their first practice they performed their first show at Borders in Douglasville. From that point on DAYSTAR, (the name the band would settle on), would go on to perform very admirably in and around the Atlanta area for over?3 years.

Whe Daystar called it quits in May of 2002, Chris decided to take a rest for awhile to re-invent his style and image. Up to this point Chris had released?1 independent solo album and it seemed evident this was the path to go. His first solo album was titled Mirror Hotel and was released in December of 2001.

The release of his 2nd solo album, (Virgo Rising),?was released 3 months after Daystar broke up in August of 2002. Originally Chris was to have put a Daystar song on the album, (as he did with his first solo album), but replaced it with a cover of 3AM by Matchbox 20, which led to the successful sales of that album. Combined, Chris sold over 200 albums with the releases of his first 2 solo albums.

In January of 2003 Chris released his 3rd solo album, which was a self-titled all acoustic album. Again, the album was very successful and remained in stores for over 14 months, the longest running album to date.

Chris would not release another album until June of 2004, 15 months after his last album. Needless to say, even after a 15 month absence, the album was very successful Christian album selling out all copies.

Currently, Chris has finished a composite album of his best material from all 4 albums, which may be released over the next year and most importantly he has finished an 8 song album called ALBUM 28. The songs tend to be very well written and very radio friendly.

With ALBUM 28, Chris hopes to be on tour and performing very soonly.

Other highlights from Chris' Music career include but are not limited to: Winner of Battle of the Bands at AHS in 2001, Placed 3rd in 2002 at same Battle of The Bands - (lost due to out of control fans storming the stage), Successful producer of over 10 independent albums, and many write-ups in the local newspapers.
