Well that could very well be!

Anyone who has ever experienced a live Chronica show would confess: they are extremely contagious and there is no known cure.

The beginning of 2003 saw singer/songwriter David Paige head to new and somewhat unfarmiliar territory. Having spent the past ten years writing and performing as a solo artist, David decided his vision was too big to keep all to himself and went in search of a calaborator.

Enter Matt Miao. A onetime Sydney sider, Matt had earned his stripes in the Melbourne music scene.

Perfect timing! (aren't we glad it was) And Chronica was formed.

2004 has already been quite a year for these brothers in arms:
Releasing their first single, 'Accident', and splitting their time between writing, touring, and recording the greatly anticipated debut album.

So what else can we expect from this high impact rock band?
Only one thing is certain: these are just the first symptoms of Chronica, and they're spreading…

The Melbourne rock quartet deliver a blistering performance, fusing '70s arena rock and early-'90s American alt-rock aiming straight for the mainstream with its commercial accessibility.

The song was tightly constructed, with no wasted space or prolonged detours from the melodic hooks. The production is clean, polished, and bright, making full use of the advances in recording technology and the expertise of Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman - acclaimed record producer and founding member of Southern Sons.

ACCIDENT is pure pop/rock, catchy and energetic enough to appeal to younger listeners, but clean and safe enough for adults as well.

Their debut album will hit the stores later in the year.
