Biography

Craig- C:- In the spring of January 6th 1986, Craig-C, was born in the parish of St. Catherine. Growing up in the vibrant community of Portmore, where his Grandmother held local weekend musical events at her home, and so his interest for music began here. Inspired by Professor Nuts and Bob Marley, Craig-C love for music escalated, he created his own style of gospel reggae DJ at the age of Fourteen (14), which resulted in DJ clashes in the class room to gain confidence. The rhymes and Rhythm used in the secular music, was turned to give a positive gospel message, that had everyone interest at heart. Educated at St. Andrew Prep and Ardene High School, he then went to Portmore Community College and obtain A Level passes in Sociology / Psychology and General Papers, Craig-C is now pursuing a degree in Management Studies at the University of West Indies. Being an active youth, his prominence came while attending Youth Fellowship Camp, where he wrote and performed his original song for the first time titled "The Lords Army". This however suprised his friends and revealed his hidden talent, soon the news began to circulate, that Craig-C could DJ. One month later he was requested to perform at his Church Girls Guide event, where Carig-C, wrote and performed another original, titled "Seek Him And Wait". This exposed Craig-C, and opened the musical door that he anticipated would have come. At Sixteen (16) years old he made his first recording "Spiritual Baretta" for producer Mr. Dale Virgo a.k.a. "Dizzle". His recognition grew and soon he recorded "Seek Him And Wait", which led to his first major performance at the "Sunday Unchained" where he performed with Gospel Icon Carlene Davis. Craig-C is known as gospel new sensation, and as confidently sustain his versatility of gospel reggae DJ form his introduction, with Eighteen (18) original songs to his repertoire at the age of Nineteen (19) years old. This makes him a significant song writer and singer and is fore seen to be one of Jamaica's greatest gospel singer of all time. Carig-C's mission is to use his musical talent, so people will hear his call and save their souls, as this is projected in the holy bible, in Palms 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, All ye lands, Serve the Lord with gladness, come before his presence with singing.
