The Finn-fronted Aussies brought pop-rock to new artistic heights with earnest, wearied vocals, high-minded guitars, and out-of-this-hemisphere hooks. And they didn't lose a beat live. This '96 set shows them basking in the adulation of a homeland crowd, and nailing every chorus.

Biography

Farewell to the World: Live at the Sydney Opera House is a two-disc, 24-song collection featuring Australia's Crowded House caught during a live show in 1996, when the group was at its peak. The album (and accompanying DVD) got its first-ever U.S. release in January,2007.
