Biography
Studio Mix Recording Studio located at Hudson Ave in Waterhouse Kingston Jamaica has been in existence for over 15 years.
The Studio is owned and operated by Kenrick Beckett popularly known as Daddy Mix.
The recording studio was named after his Sound System Studio Mix International which was the top sound system in Jamaica from 1982 to 1985.
Now Studio Mix Studio Recording Studio offers the latest in digital technology.
Some of the best known recording artistes in Jamaica learnt their craft at Studio Mix, those include Beenie Man, Bounty Killa, Junior Reid, Sugar Minott, Half Pint and Former Black Uhuru lead singer Don Carlos, Pad Anthony just to name few.
Daddy Mix is currently working with a talented bunch of young artistes who are getting heavy rotation on Jamaican radio stations.
These young artistes include Bad Breed who did shows in Canada and the Cayman Island recently and is making a name on the North American scene.
Daddy Mix known as a music teacher will continue to guide young artistes in order for them to fulfill their potential.
