Both a producer and artist, eighteen-year-old Danny J. Player acquires the musical adventurousness of Timbaland (his highly idolized producer), the dirty club sound of Benny Benassi and the Starkillers, the West Coast hip hop taste of Dr.Dre, and the exoticness of the Middle East.
Danny J. Player was born in sunny San Diego, California, where he grew up listening to old school hip hop, funk, and salsa. He has now exposed himself to various genres such as Arabic, House, and modern Hip Hop. These three genres have become the key ingredients to creating the unique sound that Danny has crafted. He has released a self-produced CD titled House De Neon which features an absolute sexy mix of Arabic, House, and Hip Hop reinforced by his alluring voice.
“My music is a true reflection of myself. I want my listeners to feel my pain and love, and to relate to what I’m all about.” --Danny
Danny has begun to expose himself in 2006 when he began releasing tracks such as “Make That Body Go Boom” and “My Arabian Queen.” These two tracks became building blocks that helped Danny build fan bases in areas such as San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, Arizona, Michigan, Florida, Europe, and much more. His fans are just as mixed as his music, from Latinos to Middle Easterners, and from Techno listeners to Hip Hop listeners.
