Editor's review

Canada is cold. Its beats are not. Not if Dan Vine is any indication; the Quebec boardsmith brings a history of blues-rock and electric guitars to bear on Van Dykian electronica. Vine's tracks tuck into fierce synths and hard pulses, but keep track of their soul.

Biography

After studying at the Conservatory of Quebec, playing with bands and teaching guitar, this guy will do what he does best: playing music!

At the age of 14, he knew that the guitar will be his best friend ever. He found his way by playing all songs of a legend , Stevie Ray Vaughan. The "Blues" for him was unique and the best way to express emotions. During his teaching at school, "Heavy Metal" and "Hard Rock" music came to him after listening an album of a band called "Septic Flesh" : A brilliant Gothic band from the UK. After only 4 years, Dan was able to play guitar like no others of his age. Steve Vai and Joe Satriani were his mentor.

However, during all these years, what he played was not exactly what he listened. Disco, Trance, Electronic and Dance music was a big part of his life. All these melodies with some lead synth, fat bass and kick drum that blow you away was things that Dan dreamed.

In 2005, he decided to start a project with 2 computers, 1 keyboard and an electric guitar. Working harder than ever, he will prove to everyone that the guitar is dedicated to an other destiny beyond expectations.

In 2006, after one-year of hard work, he presented his first CD called "Dreams". There was no Record Company behind this cd, just a man behind his music.
