Editor's review

Soundtracks inspired by a life and by Yanni. Dave Adams uses his Yamaha keyboard to express a love of piano and strings. He has raised four children and served in the United States Air Force, but a transformative experience at a Yanni concert egged him on to follow a personal vision to “make someone’s day a little brighter.”

Biography

Dave Adams is a self taught composer of New Age music. Some of his music can also be considered Film music.Dave is a forty six year old father of four and grandfather of four. All through high school he played and instrument. He wanted to play his own music in high school as a trumpeter in band ,and realized he couldn't. He moved on to guitar and then bass guitar.Dave took a leave from the music shortly after high school and went into the Air Force .Still having the urge to create his own music frustrated him greatly. However, in May of 1992 he was witness to something that would change his life. He went to a Yanni concert. After seeing what one could do with a keyboard, his inspiration came back.Since then he has had a few small keyboards and another bass guitar. He now owns a Yamaha S90 Synthesizer and spends hours creating music from the inspiration of his friends and family. Dave is a lover of piano and strings and creates alot of his music using these instruments. People have said that your passion is whatever it is that you think about when you wake up and when you go to sleep. For Dave, music is what he hears day and night. He has always said that if he can make someones day a little brighter, then it's all worth it.

Now, in an attempt to get his music out to the world, he has his music available on numerous web sites. He started out on MP3.com and that lasted for about 2 years. After MP3.com went out he ventured on to Soundclick.com and has found the response to his music very promising, accruing over 11,000 plays since February of 2004. He has had contact with Statue Records, Yeahmedia.com, Live365.com Internet Radio"LADY PANTHERESS RADIO" and also has his music on Ampcast.com. One of Daves' songs,"Tinas Price",was used in a Video Presentation Competition hosted by the Ministry of Education,Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Dave also loves to sing and hopes to put some vocal work on his third cd,"Walking Alone Together", still in the making. The first cd,"Chemical Reaction" was available on MP3.com but the response wasn't that great. The second cd,"Love Is Forever...Life Is Not", has been available on Ampcast.com since the end of December 2004.

His goals for the coming year are to make peoples lives a little brighter with his music and also to have his music used in television and film projects.
