Bowie's vision has traversed four decades of rock, though this collection is devoted to his post-Ziggy Stardust totally '80s phase. From the artistic deviant who conceived "Ashes to Ashes" and "Scary Monsters" to the slick showman of "Modern Love" and "Blue Jean," the thing that binds the chameleon's work through the years is that it never stops rockin'.
Biography
The Best of Bowie 1980/1987 is the third and final instalment in the David Bowie era collections following on from the very successful '1969/1974' and '1974/1979' releases.
This CD and DVD package features highlights of what was Bowie's most commercially successful period and features eight top ten singles - three of which were number ones.
The CD features 18 hit tracks including "Let's Dance", "China Girl", "Under Pressure" and "Modern Love" and the DVD included, features 15 corresponding videos!
