Biography
As a club DJ of over 20 years, I have been introduced to so much great music. I began my career in Chicago. Prior to becoming a DJ I was involved in the Jazz scene in Chicago. I have spun many syles ranging from Punk, to Funk, Be-Bop, Acid Jazz, Industrial, Progressive, with a heavy emphassis on anything in the Dance Music genres.
On this site my primary foucus will be my Jazz oriented vocals. My taste is pretty ecclectic. I love Sinatra, I grew up on Chet Baker, Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross, Charlie Parker, Bill Evans, and modern classical composers like Igor Stravinsky, Claude Debussey, Arron Copeland, and Bela Bartok.
I have recently begun to gravitate back to my Jazz roots. I feel my artistic focus is now in a place where I can draw upon a wide tapesry of styles that I have pervayed over the turntables, or played live in clubs to use on my artistic palate.
